Contractors : Jet Alu (steel construction)

    Expected completion :2006

The project is a new stadium for Agadir City, Morocco.
MaP3 has been in charge of the design and calculations for the steel structure supporting a membrane.
The structure has a 27 m span, in cantilever.

In order to resist to the high corrosive ambient because of the sea neighbourhood, the steel structure has been designed using Indaten steel (athmospheric resistance to corrosion).
The structure is made with folded sheets, combining resistance, function and relation to secondary equipments.

The membrane has 2 layers : solid membrane above, and perforated membrane below.
The solid one has to resist to 350 kg/m2 wind pressure.
The perforated one is used as a ceiling. The architect requirement is to have a flat ceiling.
