This project has been developed in an associative context in Figuig, Morocco.
The need was to build a social center with local resources at a very low budget.
In this area of Morocco, close to the desert, the temperature can reach 4 degrees in winter and 46 in the summer time.
The design uses thick earth vaults acting like a thermal shield and thin concrete shells preventing the earth vaults to produce dust inside the building.
